“Intrepid” is a 24×30″ grey scale acrylic painting of this insane, historical moment that took place in Butler, Pennsylvania. This being the 3rd version of the photo I’ve painted, the scale and pallet choices serve to highlight just how impactful that day was. The piece took 31 hours over 3+ weeks, all of which were streamed on TT live with thousands of people seeing it, voicing anger, love, respect and condemnation. I even received death wishes.
