“Supermassive” is an acrylic 12×16 painting of a rendering of a photograph from the James Webb telescope of the oldest known black hole in the universe. The effect of the void was made using Mousou black, a shade of black that absorbs 99.4% off all light. (Vantablack absorbs 99.7% off light but is not available to the public).
